6 resources. No signup. Plain-text files you can copy, edit or print.

Start with one real order.

Begin with the launch checklist, then choose the worksheets that match how you sell. Fill in your actual business rules and assign an owner to each decision. You can use these resources with your own team or any website supplier.

  1. Write what the store must do, what is excluded and what remains undecided.
  2. Ask for a demonstration using your products and a realistic order.
  3. Record the expected result, observed result, date and responsible person.

For M-Pesa, confirm merchant setup and production requirements with your payment provider. A payment logo alone does not demonstrate a working integration. Read the M-Pesa setup guide.

The toolkit

Choose by the decision you need to make.

01 / Launch checklist

Scope your online store

Every retailer preparing an online store or comparing quotations.

Catalogue, ordering, payment status, delivery, staff access, running costs and acceptance tests.

One useful test

Run one order from a customer's phone through payment confirmation and staff fulfilment. Record the result and who approves it.

02 / Wholesale worksheet

Get wholesale quantities right

Wholesalers and distributors selling packs, cartons or buyer-specific prices.

Selling units, minimum orders, quantity increments, account pricing and repeat ordering.

One useful test

Try ordering one unit when the product is sold by carton. Confirm the system explains the pack and handles an invalid quantity.

03 / Fulfilment worksheet

Plan delivery, pickup & returns

Stores delivering to several areas or offering collection.

Service areas, approved fees, unsupported destinations, pickup instructions and damaged returns.

One useful test

Enter an unsupported destination before payment. Confirm the customer gets a clear limitation or quotation route.

04 / Stock & POS worksheet

Connect shop & online stock

Retailers selling the same products at a physical till and online.

Stock authority, matching product codes, reservations, offline sales, duplicate updates and reconciliation.

One useful test

Simulate the website and till selling the last item. Agree how the conflict is resolved and how staff see it.

05 / Content worksheet

Prepare your website content

Owners collecting product information, images and business details before a build.

Approved copy, image rights, page responsibilities, real customer questions and enquiry routes.

One useful test

Ask someone unfamiliar with the business to find the selling unit, delivery information and contact route on a sample page.

06 / Handover worksheet

Take ownership at handover

Business owners signing off a new store or moving to another supplier.

Domain and hosting access, licences, exports, backups, restoration, training and ongoing support.

One useful test

Have the named owner demonstrate a routine edit and locate the agreed export and recovery instructions.

Before you launch

Use this quick review in your handover meeting. Ticks reset when you reload; save your decisions in the downloaded worksheet.
